They went out Wednesday returning Saturday evening. Mrs. Brady reports a very interesting convention. Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald accompanied accomp-anied by her father, James Giles, Mr. and Mrs. Don Giles and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Giles of Myton went to Springville Wednesday to attend the funeral services! for James Giles' brother. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyer and' Mrs. Frank Murphy, Mr. and Mrs. Elden Liddell went to Roy, Utah, Wendesday to attend funeral services ser-vices for a nephew who was killed by a train last week. Mrs. Henna Shields was taken to Salt Lake City the first of the week where she. underwent a major ma-jor operation. Latest reports are that she is recovering very satisfactorily. satis-factorily. Mrs. Hazel Walters spent the week in Salt Lake City and in Tooele visiting relatives. R. M. .Linke and Eavin Murphy took a truck load of cattle to Salt Lake City during the week. Mrs. Ronald Lisonbee and son, Rodney, and' Miss Carol Ann Brady of Salt Lake City came out Friday to attend a wedding of two of their cousins at Vernal. They were accompanied by Emma Saddler of Salt Lake City. They were joined here by their father, Elden Brady, and their sister, Dar-leen, Dar-leen, to attend the wedding of Mr. and Mrs- Kenny Hacking. Mr. Hacking is a nephew of Mr. Brady, while the bride, former Miss Connie Warren, is a neice of Mrs Brady. Mrs. Ronald Lisonbee and little son were Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs SheLby Lisonbee. Mr. and Mrs. Sherwood Lisonbee Lison-bee and daughter, Kim, of Salt Lake City were Wednesday visit ors of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. V. E. Penfield, of Roosevelt and Mr. and Mrs- Shelby Lisonbee. Sherwood is sporting a new Mercury Mer-cury car. Ja Nae Lidd'ell spent several days at Duchesne as a guest of Sherry Gilbert. Last Sundey dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon D. Skinner of Roosevelt were Mr and Mrs. Malcolm Walters, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Walters and baby, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Walters and faimly, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Wright and girls, Mr. and Mrs- Melvin Benson Ben-son I and daughter, Beverly, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee and daughter Shelley, visited on Friday at Bluebell with their mother, Mrs. Mary R. Lisonbee. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Norton of Vernal spent Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Neilsen. Mr. and Mrs. Devere Ostler and baby of Salt Lake City and Wayne Jennings of Las Vegas were last week visitors of their parents, Mr., and Mrs. M. F. Jennings. Jen-nings. Mr. and Mrs. Orson Rawlins and children of Craig, Colo., were here visiting their mother, Mrs. Ethel Taylor for several days. On Sunday Mrs.. Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Orson Rawlins and faimly, Mrs. Ronald Lidd'ell and small, son and Max Tayolr went to the Diamond Mountains 'to visit Roy Taylor, who is working there. Orson Rawlins and children returned re-turned to their home Monday. Mrs. Rawlins remained here to join her mother, Mrs. Roy Taylor and Max Taylor on a trip to California to visit Mr. and Mrs. AI. Cundriff. Mrs. Cundriff is the former Phyllis Taylor. Mr. and 'Mrs. Lawrence Young and Anne and Gary of Mt. Emmons Em-mons were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith. Mr. Wesley Allred of Neola was a caller at the Smith home also. |
