Show Salt Lake visitors Monday and Tuesday were Mr. and Mrs. Ther-on Ther-on Leavitt. i 'ji Mrs. Gene C. Powell is enjoying a ten-day visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Eldredge. The latter attended June Conference in Salt Lake City and also Leadership week at Provo, witnessing one of the leading plays, in which Mrs. Powell was a member of the cast All returned to Roosevelt last Saturday Sat-urday night. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nixon of Provo are elated over the arrival of a baby girl, born June 13 and tipping the scales at 5 lbs. 4 ozs. The new little miss will answer to Rue Linda. Proud grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Nixon of Roosevelt and Mrs. Byron McDonald McDon-ald of ElPaso, Texas. Mrs. Nixon visited with her new granddaughter last week and also attended Leadership at the BYU campus. I Robert Jensen and Narvol Hanson Han-son drove to Provo Tuesday to arrange for a place to stay next fall when they attend the BYU. They returned via Price, where they visited with Miss Joan Wallace, Wal-lace, Returning home with them was Kent Memmot, who had spent the past two weeks at the Wallace Home. Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Miller of San Angelo, Texas, are visiting at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bowen left Wednesday of last week for a ten-day ten-day vacation trip to Yellowstone National Park. Mr. Bowen is is-sistant is-sistant supervisor for the FHA. Mrs. Marion Bowman' and Mrs. Wesley Dickerson accompanied Dwain Buchanan to Salt Lake Tuesday on a business trip. They returned via Provo and visited with Mrs. Buchanan, who is attending at-tending summer school. Mr. and Mrs. Alva Snow drove to Richfield Monday to get their boy's, Marlin, Gordon and Lynn, who spent the past ten days visiting visit-ing with relatives. Mrs. Gilbert McKenna returned Friday night after attending MIA June Conference in Salt Lake City and Leadership week in Provo. She was accompanied by her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Deloy Duncan of Orem, who will visit here for a few weeks. Mrs. McKenna reported that her grandson, Todd McKenna, six month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl McKenna, has fully recovered from a recent illness, which was diagnosed as meningitis. |
