Show Notice To Contractors Sealed proposals will be re- j ceived by the State Road Com-! mission of Utah, State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah, until 2 o'clock p. m., Tuesday, January 15. 1952, and at that time publicly pub-licly opened, for construction of a Gravel Stockpile in Duchesne and Uintah Counties, to be stockpiled at pit located V2 mile north of Larson Corner between Randlett and Ouray on State Highway U-88, and at pit located lo-cated 3 miles East and 2 miles South of Neola, identified as State Project No. 1325. The principal items of work are approximately ap-proximately as follows: 40,000 Tons of Crushed Rock or Crushed Gravel Surface Course (1 in. maximum). Prequalification of bidders is required before plans and specifications spe-cifications can be obtained. The attention of bidders' is directed to the Special Provisions Provi-sions covering subletting or assigning as-signing the contract. i The minimum wage paid to all skilled labor employed on this contract shall be $2,025 per hour. The minimum wage paid to all intermediate labor employed on this contract shall be $1.60 per hour. The minimum wage paid to all unskilled labor employed on this contract shall be $1.50 per hour. Plans and specifications are on file in the office of the State Road Commission, Salt Lake City, and the office of its District Dis-trict Engineer at American Fork, where they may be reviewed by prospective bidders. Specifications, Specifica-tions, proposal forms, and plans will be furnished at Salt Lake City, on depositing $2.00, which will be refunded providing- bidder bid-der submits an acceptable bid and returns the plans within seven days after the opening of bids. Each bidder must submit a letter from an approved surety company guaranteeing to' furnish furn-ish said bidder with required bond. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. - Cash, certified check, cashier's cash-ier's check, or approved proposal pro-posal guaranty bond for not less than five per cent of total amount of bid, made payable to the State Road Commission must accompany each bid as evidence ev-idence of good faith and a guarantee guar-antee that, if awarded the contract, con-tract, the bidder will execute the contract and furnish contract con-tract bond as required.
