Show Bride Honored At Shower Dec. 29th Mrs. Dale Crozier was the recipient re-cipient of many beautiful gifts at a shower given in her honor Saturday afternoon at the ward house. Hostesses for the occasion were the bride's mother and sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. E. W. Crosby, Mrs. Wm. R. Evans, Mrs. Fay Miles, and Mrs. Willard B. Mecham. Games were played, refreshments refresh-ments served, and the following program numbers presented: readnig, Mrs. Glen Ames; vocal j duet, Jean Mecham and Peggy ' Ann Case; clarinet solo, Cheryl Evans. The new Mrs. Crozier (Eva Dean Crosby) will accompany her husband to his post in Washington Wash-ington when he returns to military mil-itary duty . ' Mrs. William Crozier. Mrs. John Larson, Mrs. Francis Crozier Cro-zier and Carol Crozier, all of Neola, were her to attend the shower for Mrs. Dale Crozier on Saturday. Jean Mecham was a dinner guest on Christmas Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith, of Springville. She made the trip with her fiance, A'al Allred, of Neola. Home for Christmas at Le-roy Le-roy Thackers' were Mr;- and Mrs. James Thacker and children, chil-dren, Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Merk-ley Merk-ley and children, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thacker and Anna Lee Thacker, all of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Willard A. Day, of Salt Lake, visited Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Lyle L Young and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Case. Ira B. Cannon, of Salt Lake called at the J. Edgar Holder home Friday evening. He wa passing through Duchesne and heard of Mr.. Holder's death so came on up to Mt. Emmons to offer liis sympathy to the bereaved be-reaved family. Case has been confined to her home for the past month with a severe case of lumbago. For the past .week she has been in great pam which has not responded to treatment. Mrs. Case is nearin" her 85th birthday. About 18 inches of new snow tell m Mt. Emmons Saturdav night, with an additional fail Sunday. It is estimated that there has . been a total of 30 inches of snow fall here during the past two' months. |
