Show Regular Sunday Services Set For My ton Church Christmas services were held at the Presbyterian Church, Sunday, Sun-day, with Rev. Roth, of Salt Lake City in the pulpit. A delicious de-licious turkey dinner was served serv-ed after the services, with the large congregation having the opportunity to greet Rev. Roth and Dr. John Franklin Robison, of Westminster College, who - will hold services here at 2:30 p. m. each Sunday hereafter. Jesse McCarrell, of Craig, Colorado'; H. H. McCarrell, of Rock Springs, Wyo.; his daughters daugh-ters and sons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. Moler, of Denver, and Mr - and Mrs. Norman Collom, of Craig, Colo.; Mrs. Nettie Ue-rez Ue-rez and daughter, Jane, of Long ' Beach, California, arrived last week, called here by the death of their father and grandfather, J. H. McCarrell, who passed away Dec. 21 in a Salt Lake hospital. Lieutenant and Mrs. Blaine Tanner and son came from Ft. Worth, Texas, last week to spend the Christmas holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs David Tanner. Max Robinson, accompanied by Amon Dean, arrived last ' week from Denver, Colorado, to enjoy the Christmas season at . the home of Max' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson. They spent a day in Salt Lake City visiting Max' sisters and were joined on that trip by Fay Robinson, Rob-inson, who is home on vacation vaca-tion from Wasatch Academy. They returned to Denver after Christmas. Miss LaVora Murray, who is a member of the faculty at Dixie Dix-ie College, St. George, is home to spend the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Murray. Schuckers, son, Jim. and daughter, Sally, were guests on Christmas Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rounsley at Artesia, Colo. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Tolboe on Christmas Day were Mr. and Mrs. Al Semkens, of Gusher, and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb and small daughter. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck entertained en-tertained at a Christmas Eve dinner. Their guest list included Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nielsen and children, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd and family, A. M. Todd, Miss Alice Todd and Keith Mortensen. Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Harris and Don Harris, . of Salt Lake City, were visitors at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Harris, on Christmas Day. Mr. and Mrs. Harris also visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Crapo', while here. Don remained re-mained for a longer visit, returning re-turning to Salt Lake City on Friday. Franklin Peterson and Russell Gingell, who have been home for the holidays to visit their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Peterson Pet-erson and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gingell left Tuesday to resume their studies at Snow College, Ephraim. |
