First Ward Holds Relief Society Conference Sunday Relief Society conference for the Roosevelt 'ward was held last Sunday evening, with Mrs. Omni Winterton, president, taking tak-ing charge, offering greetings and giving her report. The program proceeded as follows: opening prayer, Mrs Jesse Allen; sustaining of officers, of-ficers, Mrs. Thomas R. Todd-theme, Todd-theme, Mrs. H. O.. Sullivan'-chorus, Sullivan'-chorus, Singing Mothers, directed direct-ed by Mrs. Lyle Reynolds; scriptural scrip-tural reading, Mrs. Hillard Brod-erick; Brod-erick; talk on theme, Mrs. John Powell; scriptural reading, Mrs. Ray Scholes; talk, Mrs. Sarn Page; reading of 23rd Psalm Mrs. B. O. Colton; song, Sins-ing Sins-ing Mothers; remarks, Mrs. Marion Mar-ion Rasmussen and Mrs. Vern Freston, stake board members, and closing prayer, Mrs. J. A. Sullivan. Prelude and postlude music was furnished by Mrs. Eldon Mortensen. Next Tuesday a regular Relief Re-lief Society meeting will be held at 2 p. m., when the social science lesson will be presented by Mrs. Allen. All ladies are urged to attend.
