The boy (Earl Allred, and the girl-(JoAnn Hardman) have returned re-turned from gathering "trick or treat," and, after drinking some witches brew, have a dream of how the different characters char-acters of Hallowe'en prove their worth on that day. The awl (Bobby Allen), who acts as the judge, and the ghosts (Robert Hacking, Lynn Wilker-son, Wilker-son, Larry Irmen, Jesse Phillips, Boyd Creech, Larry Peterson, DeLoy Larsen and Larry Johnson) John-son) act as the jury, and judge the cat singers (Joyce Wills Ear-lene Ear-lene Allred and Janet Liddell), the cat dancers (Connie Fenn and Sharon Gabbert), the witches wit-ches (Marlene Anderson, Lila Jean Blanchard, Patricia Wall and Lois Christensen), the skeletons skele-tons (Homer Pitt and Glen Brown), the scarecrows (Grant Herbert and Billie Nelson), and last but not least, the Jill-O'Lan-terns (Deanna Bowman, Kae Larsen, Karen Woodward and V a 1 e n e Timothy). Everything turns out well, and it is decided all are necessary for Hallowe'en.
