Show ALTRUS CONVENES AT MURPHY HOME "The Innocents," by William Archibald, was very capably reviewed re-viewed by Mrs. Norman Murphy Mur-phy for the thirty-for members and guests who attended Altrus club last Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Paul Murphy, with Mrs. John Swenson as co-hostess. co-hostess. The entertaining three-act play centered around four people, living liv-ing in a great country house in England in 1880, who were caught up in a web of mounting mount-ing terror. The ghost-like production pro-duction kept the group in suspense sus-pense from start to finish. Current event topics were given giv-en by Mrs. Axel Birch and Mrs. Jesse Allen. Prior to the review, seasonal refreshments were served by the hostesses. |
