Show Stanley Jensen Killed In Korean Theatre MYTON (Special) Stanley Jenson, serving with the U. S. Army in Korea, has given his life for his country, according to official notification received by his father. He was killed in front-line action, October 8, after af-ter having returned to active duty Sept. 18, after being hospitalized hos-pitalized in Japan for wounds suffered in previous action. A son of James William Jen-son Jen-son and the late Hazel Tuft Jenson, he was born June 30. 1924 in Ioka. He attended school in Myton and the Roosevelt high school. Enlisting in World War II, he served in the South Pacific Pa-cific area. Returning from World War II, he made his home with his father in Myton and married Mauna Frandsen, from whom he was .later divorced. ' He enlisted for duty in Korea and had seen action there for several months. Surviving are his three sons, Mark. Michael and Wendy, residing re-siding in Roosevelt with their mother, Mrs. Kirk Benson; his father, and three brothers Ralph, Wesley and Max all of Myton; three sisters, Mrs. Wilma Bratke, ' Greenriver, Wyoming; Mrs. Af-i ton Seeley, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Betty Haskell, Rodondo Beach, Calif. Another brother, Howard Bert Jenson was killed 1 in" action on Biak Island in the Pacific during World War II. |
