Show (juAhet4 Stella Underwood Alex Duvalls Have New Grandson Mr. and Mrs. Alex Duvall announce an-nounce the arrival of a grandson grand-son on September 29 at Tooele. Happy parents are Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Duvall. Visiting at the Duvall home on Sunday were their daughter. Mildred Long and baby, of Ver-nol; Ver-nol; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Duvall, Du-vall, and children, and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Duvall, and children, chil-dren, of Pleasant Grove. Troy Tremble, our school bus driver, took a load of Union High boys to Moab Thursday to play football. They returned Friday. Glenn Allred, of Indian Bench, drove the bus in Troy's absence. Mr. and Mrs. Acel Nelson had to rush their small baby to Salt Lake for medical treatment last week. Mr. and Mrs. Rolen Kemball, of Salt Lake, visited Sunday at the Eph Eskelson home. Members of the Relief Society met Tuesday and quilted a quilt for Mrs. Vonnie Dahlberg. Mr. and Mrs. .Hyrum Dom-gaard Dom-gaard and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Underwood were in Vernal on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. William Ferguson Fergu-son and daughters, of Provo, were here last week to attend funeral services for Mrs. Ferguson's Fergu-son's mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Rogers, of Leota. Mr. and Mrs. Ferguson are -living in Provo this winter, where Mr. Ferguson has employment. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ross ani daughter visited in Vernal, Monday. Mon-day. Ivan Domgaard has gone to Nine Mile to work as a govern ment trapper. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Domgaard Dom-gaard and son- Ernie, attended the farewell party given at the Roosevelt Baptist church last week for the Olen Perryman family who left Tuesday, Oct. 23, to make their home in Texas. Mrs. Lester Schwobe and son, David, of Vernal, spent Thursday Thurs-day at the Albert Semken home. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Ferguson Fergu-son and son, of Heber, came in to go deer hunting in . this area. Mrs. Jay Clark took seriously ill on Saturday and was rushed to the Roosevelt hospital for medical care. Mrs. Marvin Ferguson and baby left last Wednesday by .bus to visit her father and brother in Pueblo, Colorado. Al Semken is helping at ' the Bud Markey store while' Mr. Markey is hunting deer. Mrs. Elsie Domgaard is caring car-ing for the Eskelson girls. Kathleen Kath-leen and Sharon, while Mr. and Mrs. Eph Eskelson are on the deer hunt. ' |
