Show E. C. Coston Has I Heart Attack E. C. Coston suffered a heart attack Friday evening as he was on his way deer hunting. He was near Tabiona, in company with Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Swisher at the time. He was rushed to the Roosevelt hospital, where he remained re-mained until Sunday before being be-ing released. Mrs. Keith Snyder and her three small children, of Altonah, spent several days at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bingham, while Mr. Snyder was hunting deer. Ralph Betts, son of Mr. and Mrs Clarence Betts, who was taken ill while in California, has been home with his parents for some time now. Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Coston were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Workman, Work-man, in Roosevelt, Sunday, Oct. 14 Mr. and Mrs. Ferris Winn have sold their farm south of Ft Duchesne and plan to move soon. They will first go to Oregon Ore-gon to take Mrs. Winn's mother, Mrs. Kitty Dresaler, back to her home. . . Mrs. Spencer Squire presented present-ed the literature lesson in Relief Re-lief Society, Tuesday, Oct. 16. The annual Deer Hunters Ball was held at the R. W. Barn Thursday evening, Oct. 18, with a large crowd in atendance. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Anderson plan to leave this week for an extended trip to New Mexico and California. Representatives from the M.I. A. visited homes in the ward last week to obtain subscriptions to the Improvement Era. Robert Stolla. son of Mrs. Erna Stolla, went to Salt Lake City last week to go deer hunting hunt-ing with his brothers-in-law. Mrs. Raymond Eldredge and daughter. Betty, went to Salt Lake City to attend funeral services ser-vices for Mr. Wimmer. who had been their neighbor several years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Max Gardner and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rasmus-sen, Rasmus-sen, of Roosevelt, joined us in a ! square dance last Thursday evening. A cordial invitation is extended to all to come I and join us. I Dee Allred has purchased the Charles Bingham farm, located jeast of the E. C. Coston farm in Alterra. |
