Show AVALON SCHOOL VISITS ROOSEVELT PLANTS Wednesday, October 10 the 1st and 2nd grades at Avalon school, Randlett, Utah, went to Roosevelt, Utah. We went on the school bus. We did not stand up when the bus was going. First we went to the Roosevelt Roose-velt Standard and saw how a newspaper was made. From there we went to' see the Seed Plant. We saw how the weed seed as taken out from the alfalfa al-falfa seed. 1 Next we visited the Hi-Land Dairy. There we saw where butter and cheese was made. We saw how they dried milk Then we went to the park and ate our lunches. We were careful care-ful to put our lunch bags and paper' in the metal tanks. At the park we saw the big fire engine. The fireman told us all about the engine and showed us how to put out a fire. We saw the firemen's hats and coats and a fire mask. One boy put on the mask and hat. Then we visited the Bakery. The baker showed us how bread was made. We saw the big oven where it was baked. Then he sliced a loaf of bread and showed show-ed how it was wrapped in wax paper. Then it as time to go back to school. We had a happy day and learned many things. i We thank everyone who help-1 ed make it a good day. i The Third and Fourth grades went to.
