Show Seven Inducted Into U. S. Military Units Seven boys from Duchesne County boarded the 11:00 a. m. bus Monday morning, Nov. 12, enroute for induction into the armed services." Don A. Mayhew. of Utahn, had previously reported for induction in-duction with the October call, but was held for further physical examination. He was notified to again report for induction with the November group. Hugh Murray, of Roosevelt, asked for voluntary induction in order to be with his school pals and life-long friends. Hugh had not yet been called for pre-inductiori pre-inductiori physical examination; but necessary induction papers were signed and he boarded the bus with his friends. Others reporting for induction induc-tion on Nov. 12 were Phillip Harrison of Roosevelt; Harold Bowden, Route 1, Roosevelt; Wayne Smithson, Neola; Elden DeLoy Duncan, Route 2. Roosevelt; Roos-evelt; and Ray Clyde Lambert, Altonah. |
