Show Stella Underwood Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Bodily announce an-nounce the arrival of a new granddaughter born to their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Garn Bodily, of Salt Lake on November 4. This is their first child. Miss Elinor Hackf ord has gone . to Salt Lake City where she has employment. Mrs. Ruby Hallett went to Salt Lake on Tuesday of last week for medical treatment. She spent most of the week in a hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Kimball Arnold made a business trip to New Mexico last week. Mrs. Elsie Domgaard made a trip to Vernal Sunday for medical med-ical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Buzz Larsen and family, of Victory Park and Don Hacking, of Vernal, visited Sunday at the Bud Markey home. Lorin Arnold, of Spanish Fork, visited relatives here last week. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Puvall and baby visited here a few days last week. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Markey and boys were in Salt Lake on Friday. Fri-day. Albert Semken looked after af-ter the store in their absence. Mrs. Vonnie Dahlberg and son, Loma, made a trip to Salt Lake on Sunday. Loma was en-route en-route to his base at San Diego, after a 15-day" furlough at home Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Allred celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary on Nov. . 12. I F. O. Lundberg, of Tooele, visited last week end with hii son, David, at Independence. Misses Carol and Shanna Bel-Ion, Bel-Ion, who are attending school at the A. C. in Logan, spent last week end witH their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Xavier Bellon. Miss Charlene Bellon, who is working in Salt Lake City, was also home for the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross, of . Vernal, are the proud parents ; of a baby boy, born last week, i Mrs Ross will be remembered as the former Dorothy Hatch, dau3hter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hatch. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bracken attended I funeral services for Mrs. Ira A. Pace, at Neola, last Saturday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Broderick and small daughter, of Salt Lake City, spent several days at the home of Mrs. Broderick's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Ras-mussen. Ras-mussen. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bracken visited with Mr. and Mrs. Roy W. Rust, Mr. and Mrs. Evan Ben-nion Ben-nion and Mrs. Cloyd Powell in Mt: Emmons last Saturday. -Elvin Kettle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kettle, suffered a deep cut on the topof his head Thursday. He was taken to Roosevelt for treatment. Sev- I eral stitches were required to close the gash. i j The parents of Bill Brisbir., of Cortez, Colo., have been visiting vis-iting at the Brisbin home. I Keith Todd drove the mail route Wednesday while Mr. ' Sprouse was away, j Max Cook, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cook, is a patient I in the Roosevelt hospital. He has j been very ill for several days. Cause of his illness was undetermined unde-termined at this writing. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Bingham Bing-ham and family, of Vernal; Le-land Le-land Bingham and a friend from Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bingham and children, of Fairfield; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Law-rence Brighton were guests Sunday Sun-day at the home of Mr. and Mn. Charles Bingham. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Winn attended at-tended the wedding of Miss Alice Dean Nye, of Ogden, in the Salt Lake L.D.S. temple on Wednesday, Nov. 7. They also participated in the stake temple excursion on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Elton Kettle went to Salt Lake City Friday, returning Sunday evening. Velma Pickup, of Randlett, spent the week end with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. 1 C. Coston, while her parents Mr. and Mrs. LaRue Pickup, 1 were in California. |
