Show Duveromy Chapter, No.179O.LS. Elects Officers , Mrs. Sadie Blank, of Neola. was elected to the office of wor- uny matron or uuveromy Chapter, Chap-ter, No. 17. Order of Eastern Star, at a regular meeting held Tuesday evening. November 13, at the Masonic Hall. Tom Sweat-man, Sweat-man, of Vernal, was named worthy wor-thy patron with the following associate officers chosen: Mrs. Lloyd Norman, Roosevelt associate as-sociate matron; Harvey Riggle, Neola, associate patron; Mrs. Titus Ti-tus Jones, Duchesne, secretary; Mrs. Leo F. Hancock, Roosevelt, treasurer; Mrs. Forrest Stone, Fort Duchesne, conductress; Mrs. Harvey Risgle, Neola, associate conductress; and Mrs. Ha Lombard, Lom-bard, Jensen, three-year trustee. A special guest in attendance was Mrs. Mary D. Miller, of Los Angeles, formerly of Myton, who was the first worthy matron ma-tron of Duveromy Chapter. Twenty-five members convened to effect an organization, under dispensation, in June, 1922. A charter for the chapter was granted in October, 1923. There are seventy-seven members in good standing now enrolled in Duveromy Chapter. Election of officers was conducted con-ducted by Mrs. Lombard, retiring retir-ing worthy matron.
