Show Armistice Day Is Observed Monday j Armistice Day ceremonies .were held Monday, Nov. 12 at ill p. m. in the Myton Elemen-' Elemen-' tary School, with Commander I Blaine. Brokaw in charge. Colors were advanced by Jack Giles and Bill Pree'ce, with Antone Uresk -and Lowell Babcock as guards. Invocation was given by Morris Miller, principal, followed fol-lowed by "America" by the : school flute band, under the di ; rection of Mr. Miller; vo.cal solo, so-lo, "My Buddy,' ' by' Mrs. Lynn Dean, accompanied by Mrs. O. A. Dart; Flanders Field and America's Reply, was presented by Mrs. H. D. Roberts. Principal speaker for the program, pro-gram, was Robert Andrews, a teacher in the Roosevelt Junior High School. ' ; A silence of thirty seconds, iand prayer by Mrs. DalJleisn ; closed the meeting. Colors were j retired. |
