Show Drama Night At M.I. A. Gives Two 1-Act Plays Drama night was observed at the M.I. A. meeting Tuesday night. Two plays were presented under the direction of Mrs. Glen Ames. Cast in "Grandma j Pulls a Strin:-;,' were Lois Sadler, Sad-ler, Grandma Blessington; SheiJa! Evans. Julia Cummings; Barton Bennion, Bill Thornton; Carolyn Dastrup, Hildegarde Cummings; Gayle Case, Nona Beaver; and Carma Jean Hansen, Mrs. Cummings. Cum-mings. Roles in "Who's Afraid of Ghosts" were played by Larry Hansen and Leonard Ames, as Sandy and Ted; Larry Hartman, Duane Evans and Grant Drol-linser Drol-linser as the three Ghosts; and George Chapman, Big Boss oi the Ghosts. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Sargent and two small sons, of Hoytsville, Hoyts-ville, came out for the pheasant season. While here they were guests of Mrs. Sargent's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Edgar Holder. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle L. Young returned Tuesday from a week's stay in Cedar City. They brought their little granddaughter, Marilyn, Mar-ilyn, back with them for a visit. Marilyn's parents are Mr. and Mrs. June Young. Erwin Rust made a trip to Salt Lake Thursday, returning the same day with a new car. Floyd Case and Barton Bennion Ben-nion accompanied him. ' Whili? in Salt Lake, Barton, a senior student at Altamont, took steps to enroll in the Navy R.O.T.C. at U. of U. |
