Show Mrs. Garda Seeley Don Stevenson Home On Leave Don Stevenson, serving with the navy, is home on leave. Don received his basic training train-ing at San Diego, and has since seen service aboard a refueling ship for our armed forces. He is a son of Mrs. Zola Stevenson. Drew Goodrich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Goodrich, was in the Roosevelt hospital Tuesday Tues-day and Wednesday for treatment treat-ment of a sinus infection. A large crowd from Bluebell attended the three day U B.I.C. at Roosevelt two weeks ago. Jo-Ann Jo-Ann Goodrich and Jean Seeley were among the participants in the Junior Talent show. Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Stansfieid and family, of Price, visited Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Bird, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hancock, of Salt Lake City, visited here a few deys during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Wally Neilson went to Salt Lake City during the week to attend funeral services ser-vices for Mr. Neilson's sister. Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Atwood and family attended an Atwood reunion at Wolf Creek Pass on Saturday, There were about 50 members of the Simeon Atwood family present. The Atwoods aru former Mt. Emmons residents. Mrs. Agnes Larsen spent a few days in Salt Lake City visiting vis-iting with her mother, Mrs. Mary Kenison. Mr. and Mrs. Ca,rl Powell and children, of Sandy, visited over the week-end with Carl's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. James W. Powell. Mr. and Mrs. Les Atwood and family, of Midvale, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Atwood on Sunday. Mrs. Verona Therning and children, of Orem, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Powell and children, of Midvale, spent the week end here with relatives. Miss Lorraine Lor-raine Therning returned to Orem Or-em with her mother after spending spend-ing the past month here with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James W. Powell. Mr. and Mrs. Blaney Kimball and their two daughters and Miss Nellie Stevenson, of Price, and Mrs. Thelma Robinson and children, of Ioka, visited here Sunday with relatives. The following girls attended the 4-H encampment at Big Park in Uinta canyon: Marilyn Goodrich, Good-rich, Marva Atwood, Twila Larsen, Lar-sen, Marolyn Atwood, Pauline Wikler, June Powell, Lorraine Therning and Mrs. Irene Barrett, Bar-rett, 4-H leader. The girls went up Monday morning and returned return-ed Wednesday at noon. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hancock and Mrs. Zella Goodrich spent a few days visiting relatives in Salt Lake City. Leland Goodrich and son, Gary, were in Heber during the week on business. |
