Show ESTHER S. LAMBERT ' Funeral services were held Monday at 1 p.m. in the Roosevelt Roose-velt ward chapel for Mrs. Esther Smith Lambert, 61, who died in a Salt Lake hospital Oct. 21 at 7:40 p.m. following a lingering illness. Theron Leav-ltt, Leav-ltt, member of the ward bishopric, bishop-ric, conducted the services. Mrs. Lambert was born at Hennessey, Okla., June 2, 1892, a daughter of Fred Clark and Sarah Ann Griffin Smith. She married Clarence Lambert in Hyrum, Utah, June 17, 1912. Speakers at the funeral were W. Russel Todd, member of the Roosevelt stake presidency, and Dan Mitchell, former Neola bishop. Musical numbers were presented as follows: male quartet quar-tet composed of Melvin Peterson, Peter-son, Garth Tietjen, Dwain Buchanan Bu-chanan and Cliff Memmott, with Mrs. Hollis G. Hullinger as ac-companist; ac-companist; vocal solo, LeRoy Anderson, accompanied by Mrs. Essie Alexander; vocal solo, Mrs. Rulon Anderton, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Hullinger, who also played the prelude and postlude music. Prayer at the mortuary was delivered by-James by-James Lewis, with the invocation invoca-tion by Thomas Todd, the benediction bene-diction by Pres. Hollis Hullinger Hullin-ger and T. A. Sullivan dedicated dedi-cated the grave. Survivors include her husband, hus-band, of Roosevelt; one daughter daugh-ter and two sons, Mrs. Twila Caldwell, and Arthur E., Oakland, Oak-land, Calif; Clarence DeVoe, Logan; seven brothers and sisters: sis-ters: Marion A., William C. Smith, both of Los Angeles; Mrs. Mary E. Gagon and Mrs. Tina Wilkins, both of Roosevelt; Roose-velt; Mrs. Nora Davis, Mrs. Eva Clark, both of Compton, Calif.; Arthur M. Smith, Gusher and four grandchildren. Burial was in the Roosevelt City Cemetery under the direction direc-tion of the Olpin Mortuary of Roosevelt. |
