Show I THIRD BIRTHDAY Little Sandra Kolb celebrated her third birthday on Oct. 22 by giving a party, to which she invited her friends. Those present pres-ent were, Brenda and Brent Baxter, -JoAnn LaRose, Kather-ine Kather-ine and Debby Barrett, Karen and Tyron Kolb, Bert Hanberg, Roy, Jackie and Dennis LaRose and Danny and Grace Kolb. Sgt. and Mrs. Wendell Evans, who are here on leave from Florida, spent several days last week with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Snow. Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Powell and children were liouseguests of the Rusts last weekend from their home in Lehi. Mrs. Kenneth Beadren took a group of students out to Springville last Monday to a series of classes onyearbook work. The group consisted of Sheila Evans, Carol Bleazard, Lois Sadler and Hal McDonald. Miss Veretta Gomm and Miss Lorraine Dastrup were home from the USAC last weekend. Dave Lunt, of Vernal, brought them home. Mrs. Irving Snow spent several sev-eral days with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Fitzwater, last week. She and her husband both visited in Utahn .with their children, Mr. and "Mrs. Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Abplanalp. Mr. and Mrs. H. D Anderson were in Ephraim aj few days last week to visit friends and relatives. Dr. Philo Farnsworth spent the weekend in Salt Lake with his family. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Houtz and son, Larry, of Orem, and Mr. and Mrs. Connie Denver, of Ft. Duchesne, spent Sunday evening visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Denver and family. Mrs. Jewell Kolb attended the Diocese Council of Catholic Women in the Ben Lomond Hotel Ho-tel in Ogden on Oct. 24. Elvin Thacker was home last Saturday and Sunday to see his folks, the Volney Boswells. In preparation for his approaching marriage to Miss Marjorie Ny-berg, Ny-berg, a quilting was held by Mrs. Boswell with the following follow-ing ladies present: Mrs. Irving Snow, Mrs. Evan Hansen, Mrs. Wm. Evans, Mrs. Less Orr. Mrs. Art Snow and Mrs. Glen Ames. |
