Show Enrollments For Local Schools Considered normal Reports coming from the various var-ious schools in the Roosevelt area ar-ea reveal that things are moving mov-ing along in a rather smooth fashion, considering the fact that up to this morning Youngsters Young-sters and teachers have been on the job two days. Enrollments are about on an average with past years, with more students expected in the junior and high 1 schools. Reports from Union High School indicate that as of Tuesday Tues-day noon 105 seniors had registered, reg-istered, with 13 more expected; in the junior class 136 are enrolled, en-rolled, and 17 more should join the class. In the tenth grade there are 142 registered, and 17 not enrolled, with 75 in the ninth grade, and 11 to' come. This makes a total of 458 enrolled en-rolled and 51 more expected. From the Roosevelt Junior High comes the report that 289 are enrolled in the three grades as follows: seventh, 107; eighth i 93, and ninth, 89. At the Roose-1 velt Elementary, Principal John Blaine reported a total of 372 ' were included in the six grades-74, grades-74, first grade; 25, second; 53 third; 53, fourth; 62, fifth, and 55 in the sixth. All three schools are completely com-pletely staffed with teacher personnel, per-sonnel, and a good year is anticipated. |
