Show "Holiday On Ice" Opening i Set For Sept. 17 Utah's favorite entertainment, the ever-popular "Holiday On Ice," will again be the attraction attrac-tion at the State Fair Coliseum starting Friday, Sept. 17, at 8:30 pm. and continuing nightly night-ly through Sunday, Sept. 26. Matinee performances will be given at 2.30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays during this period and on Wednesday, Sept. 22. The premiere performance, Friday, Sept. 17, promises to be a gala occasion with many State and city officials and prominent promin-ent fair visitors attending this "Night Before the Fair" showing. show-ing. This performance was added add-ed to the show's itinery in an effort vto accomodate several thousand people who might not find time during the regular fair dates to attend the show. There are plenty of tickets available for this and all other performances for those who act early. According to Fair Manager, Man-ager, J. A. Theobald, more than 2,500 people were unable to see the giant ice spectacle last season because they waited too long for tickets. TJhis new 1955 edition of "Holiday On Ice" promises to be something extra special Celebrating Cel-ebrating the 10th anniversary of their show, the producers have gone all out with no regard re-gard for expense, to make this their greatest production. Each year one wonders, "how do they keep it up. So many changes chan-ges from last year." The new look, this time, will really be a new look. |
