Show BRIDGELAND Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee Mr. and Mrs. Howard Smith and two little daughters arrived here Friday from Oakland. California Cal-ifornia to be guest at the home of their parents, Mr and Mrs Alma Smith, until they are settled in their new home in of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Provo. Mr and Mrs Leon Walters and children, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr and Mrs Malcolm Walters. Mr and Mrs Cecil Pease and children, of Salt Lake City, were Saturday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lison-'bee. Lison-'bee. Mrs. Christina Fitzgerald motored mo-tored to Salt Lake City, Wednesday.. Wed-nesday.. She was accompanied as far as Heber by Mrs. Phoebe Clayburn, who has been a guest here the past week at the Fitzgerald Fitz-gerald . home. Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Frisch-knecht, Frisch-knecht, of Gunnison, Utah, visited visit-ed last week with Mr. and Mrs. Mirl Jennings. A large crowd of young people peo-ple from the Bridgeland ward attended the MIA Golden Gleaner Glean-er and M Men party at Du- ehesne, Wednesday. A large crowd of people from Bridgeland enjoyed the fair at Duchesne during last week. Wilma Meyer, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyer. She brought a girl friend from Salt Lake with her. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Young, of Mt. Emmons, were visiting old friends in Bridgeland, Monday. (Late for Last Week) Mr. and Mrs. Frank Murphy went to Salt Lake City Sunday taking their daughter, Karen, for an eye examination. They were accompanied to' the city by their mother, Mrs. Jane Murphy. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyer were: Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Clark, of Myton and their son. Don, who is here on leave from the Navy stationed in Rhode Island, and Mr. and Mrs. Senor Mortensen, Jr., of Ioka. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Van Tas-sell Tas-sell and family went to Peoa, ! Sunday, to visit relatives. Salt Lake City visitors at the I home of Mr. and Mrs. Clive Sprouse were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wal-ter Baese and family. Mrs. Baese is a sister of Mrs. Sprouse. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Linke during the week were their daughter, Mrs. Laurine Nickerson and daughter, Christie,- of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Beatrice MacDougal and daughter, Janet, of Oakland, Calif.; and Isabelle Dalziel, of Berkley, Calif. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Walters during dur-ing the week were: Mr. and Mrs. Lester Shields and son, Paul, of Tooele; Mrs. Selma Nicholls, of Downie, Calif, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gilispie, of Tooele. Jewel Peterson, of Mt. Pleasant, Pleas-ant, was an overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Elden Brady, on Thursday. Mrs. Edythe Marrett has ac- cepted a positkm of teaching girls P.E. and English at the Duchesne High School for the coming school year. A large crowd of ladies from the Bridgeland and Arcadia wards attended the 4-H exhibit at the Bridgeland church, Monday Mon-day morning, where Miss Mary Lois Reichert judged the girls' finished projects andselected articles ar-ticles to be shown "at the Duchesne Du-chesne County Fair. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Stansfield and children visited Sunday evening at Myton with Mr. and Mrs. MHton Neilsen. Joan Van Tassell entertained the young folks of the ward Tuesday evening after Mutual, honoring Toni and Terry Maret, of Mesa, Arizona, who were guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Maret. The Bridgeland girls softball team played Wednesday evening eve-ning with the Lapoint team with the high score going to the La-point La-point team. Mrs. Mirl Jennings, Sr. is employed at the Christensen store at Roosevelt. Boyd Van Tassell spent several sev-eral days at Tabiona visiting Mr. and Mrs. Gail Van Tassell. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Stansfield took their daughter, Donna Ann to Salt Lake, Wednesday, for a medical check-up. Mrs. Myrtle Sprouse took her 4-H class to Vernal Thursday to enjoy a swim at the Vernal swimming pool. They attended a show also. Those enjoying the evening 6f fun were: Norma Rae Murphy, JaNae Liddell, Lu-Jean Lu-Jean Jennings, Bertie Lisonbee and Joan Van Tassell. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald Fitzger-ald went to Salt Lake City, on Wednesday. Carol Ann Brady was treated two days of last week at the Roosevelt Hospital for poisoning poison-ing from a bee sting. Ethel Taylor, Hazel Walters and Elva Lisonbee attended the Daughters of Utah Pioneers county encampment at Duchesne Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Liddell went to' Salt Lake City.
