Show Mis. Garda Seeley Baby Drowns BLUEBELL (Special) Ted Lynn Whitehead was drowned in a Bluebell farm pond on Friday night just a short distance from the Whitehead home. The 17 month old son had been to the corral with members of the family and they had returned him to the house Where the mother was busy canning fruit. The boy disappeared and the family searched for about two hours before the father waded into the pond and found the boy. His body was taken to Roosevelt Roos-evelt by Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Goodrich where he was pronounced pro-nounced dead. Ted Lynn Whitehead was born in Spanish Fork, March 21, 1953, a son of William (Bill) and Lucille Joyner Whitehead. Survivors include his parents, and three brothers, Glen William, Wil-liam, Paul Elliot.and John Jay; two grandmothers, Mrs. J. A. Joyner, Los Angeles and Mrs. Mary A. Whithead, Springville. Funeral services were conducted con-ducted on Monday at 2 p.m. with Bishop James I. Bird conducting. conduct-ing. Bluebell quartet, Gardner Goodrich, Wm. O. Larsen, Pauline Paul-ine and Shana Lee Winkler singing, "Oh, My Father"; Invocation, In-vocation, F. Earl Case; Trio, Garda Seeley, Laura Seeley, Betty Lou Goodrich, sang, "In The Garden"; 1st speaker, Glenn A. Christenson; Solo, Ned Gines, "Your Sweet Little Rosebud Rose-bud Has Left You"; 2nd speaker, speak-er, President Bernard Winkler; Duet, Pauline and Shana Lee Winkler sang, "Sometime We'll Understand"; Benediction, Wm. O. Larsen. Burial was in the Bluebell cemetary with Leslie B. Goodrich Good-rich dedicating the grave. Olpin Mortuary of Roosevelt was in charge of the services. Mr. and Mrs. James Adams and new baby daughter visited over the weekend with Mrs. Adams' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon Bird. While here they had their new baby blessed and given a name in Sacrament meeting. The little miss will be known as Rosa Ann. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Seeley are the proud parents of a baby boy born August 28, at the Roosevelt hospital The baby weighed 5 lbs and 11 ozs Mr and Mrs Arvil Goodrich and four children of Pocatello, Idah spent the weekend here in Bluebell with Arvil's parents, Mr and Mrs Fred Goodrich. Other guests at the Fred Goodrich Good-rich home were Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Goodrich and two children child-ren of Bonanza and Mr. and Mrs. Evan Goodrich and two children of Roosevelt. |
