Show Mrs. Elsie Bird Honors Husband On His Birthday Mrs. Charlie Bird entertained at a chicken supper Monday, in honor of her husbands birthday and for Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bird. Present were Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Solmonson, Mrs. Melvin Bird and family, of Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson, of Myton; Mr. and Mrs. Clair Duncan and children, of Neola; Deon, Delaine and Mildred Bird; Mr. and Mrs. Leland Le-land Bird, of San Diego. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross went to Pleasant Valley, Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross made a trip to Carbon County and to Greenriver, Wednesday to visit relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Shields and Mrs. Gladys Capson spent Wednesday in Roosevelt, cleaning clean-ing Mrs. Shields apartment. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bird and daughter, Cynthia, of San Diego', Calif., arrived Saturday night to spend the Labor Day weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. DINNER GUESTS Mr. and Mrs. Edsel Murphy and children, of Salt Lake, Mrs. Rose Gilbert, of Myton; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Goodrich, of Tri-dell Tri-dell and son, Leandrew, Mr. and Mrs. Chad Evans were dinner din-ner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate on Sunday. A very interesting program was given Sunday night by the Genealogy committee. The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. LeGrand Gilbert, was blessed Sunday in Fast meeting meet-ing by his father. He was given the name of Franklin. Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Bird and son, Ralph, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Mair, of Heber, visited on Sunday at. the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chalie Bird. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross took Mrs. Ross' mother, Mrs. Cynthia Massey, home to Vernal, Sunday Sun-day after sepnding several days visiting them. Mrs. Elsie Bird took Delaine Bird to Vernal, Thursday, where she received medical treatment. Mrs. Golda Jensen received the gold cup on her needlework at the county fair. |
