Show DoesHG County I SALUTE YOU The Parade - The Fair - The Rodeo Were A Grand Success ! CONGRATULATIONS To YOU Of DUCHESNE COUNTY! Everyone of you, from the baby thai traveled on the Strawberry hand cart to the Indian Chief, the beautiful - Queen and the many Committee members behind the scenes. I thrill to the efforts put forth by everyone of you, as I know the hours of hard work it lakes to make such a marvelous success of the parade, the exhibits and the rodeo. WHERE ELSE BUT IN DUCHESNE COUNTY could any-one any-one see such an outstanding parade put on by such a sparsely populated county. The floats would take a prize in the best of parades. The exhibits at the Fair make us proud that we live in Duchesne County. The rodeo with its riders and variety of acts is hard to beat and our good neighbor, Uintah County, giving us such wonderful riding acts. I marvel at the hard work put forth by everyone and given so freely. I can plainly see we still have the good old pioneer stock and the "do-or-die" spirit of our pioneer ancestors right here in Du-thesne Du-thesne County. THE BASIN is on the threshold of a new and better educational educa-tional and industrial era. We shall go forth with the progressive minded people we have here in the Basin, working for progress and improvement, not for ourselves, but for our children and the future of the Basin My Hubby and I have worked 20 years to help imprpve and make things better for the people of the Basin I. too, want to work with you and for you for a BETTER COUNTY, A BETTER STATE, AND A BETTER NATION.
