Show Mrs. Ethel Beebe Mr. and Mrs. Grant Smith and family, of Colorado, spent . the Christmas holidays with Mr. Smith's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smith. I Mr. and Mrs. James Powell , and family, of Cedarview, were visiting relatives in town Wed-' nesday. A doctor from Roosevelt was called Wednesday evening to care for Mrs. Lawrence Weeks, who had suffered a heart attack. at-tack. Everett Daniels, of Ft. Duchesne, Du-chesne, spent Christmas day at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Norman LaRose. Leo Page received wprd of the death of his, father, Orson Page, of Kgmas, Monday, December De-cember 25. Mr, Page has been living with his daughter, Mrs Leland Potts, of Upalco, since the death of his wife in September. Sep-tember. He took sick on Friday of last week and was in the Roosevelt hospital until Monday, Mon-day, when he was being taken to a Salt Lake hospital, but died enroute. Funeral services were held Friday noon. Burial was in Francis, near Kamas. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bow-den Bow-den and family made a trip to Midvale to spend a few days with Mrs. Bowden's father. Alma Al-ma Case, who is very ill Nephi Smithson, the McNess dealer of Neola, was in town Saturday. I Louis Reese, manager of the R.E.A , left Tuesday on a business busi-ness trip to New Orleans, La. His wife accompanied him Their son, Walker, stayed in Orangeville with relatives Donna Maxfield spent the past several days of the holiday in Tooele and Salt Lake City visiting friends and relatives' Mrs. Harold Fowler and new son came home from the Roosevelt Roos-evelt hospital Friday. Ted Snyder, Raymond Dump Glen Anderson and Charlie All-red All-red left Wednesday to report back to Ft. Riley, Kansas, after af-ter spending a 5-day furlough with home folks. I Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Corbin announced the arrival of a new son, born Dec. 28 at the Roosevelt Roos-evelt hospital. Mother and baby are getting- along fine. Mr. and Mrs, Claude Murray and daughter, who is spending the winter in Murray, spent Christmas in Altonah. Ed Davis went to Duchesne Thursday to stay for a few days while receiving medical I care. Mr. Davis has been ill for some time. Altonah ward conference was held Sunday afternoon. Out of town visitors were Pres. Wm. Brotherson. of Boneta, Bernard Winkler, Mrs. Thelma Cook, of Bluebell, Mr. and Mrs. Claude McDonald, Leon Burton, of Tal-mage, Tal-mage, and E. L. Murphy, of Upalco. Miss Lueve Winward, of Salt Lake City, spent the week-end with Donna Maxfield. . Alta and Molley Lue Edwards, Ed-wards, of Salt Lake, were New Years guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clinty Ames. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Heath, of Wellington, visited over the weekend at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Glen Burgess, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Allred. |
