Show fallal Stanley Womack, who is receiving re-ceiving his basic training at Camp Cooke, Calif., reports he has been learning to operate a two-way radio and code sender. He is in Hq. and Hq. Co. 40th Inf, div. and 160 Inf. Res'. All Christmas leaves were cancelled, can-celled, but he expects to be home in January, before being assigned to active duty. Mr. and Mrs. Wendel Johnson John-son and two children enjoyed a few days visiting at the home of Mr. Johnson's mother, Mrs. Charles Pearce, in Salt Lake City last week. Clyde Collins, son of Bishop and M.rs. Golden Collins, had a record of 100 per cent attendance at-tendance at Sunday school during dur-ing 1950. He is a member ' of the 2nd intermediate class. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Hullinger, Hullin-ger, of Salt Lake City, were guests several days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hullinger Hullin-ger last week. The M.I.A. officers sponsored a dance in the chapel Wednesday Wednes-day evening, Dec. 27, but there were very few in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Anderson Ander-son and family left Sunday to visit relatives 4n Carbon county. Mr. and Mrs. Garn Bodily, of Salt Lake City, spent Christmas Christ-mas with Mrs. Pearl Jenkins. Junior Jenkins was also home .from Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Eric Stolla and their two children, of Clearfield, Clear-field, arrived early Sunday morning to visit with Mrs. Er-na Er-na Stolla and family. Mrs. Charles Bingham returned return-ed from Salt Lake City Christmas Christ-mas morning with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bingham, of Park City. Mr. Bingham was sufficiently recovered from his recent operation op-eration at the L.D.S. hospital to be removed to the home of his son, Leland, in Salt Lake Citv. |
