Show Hear Of Death Mrs. Wm. Jenkins received the sad news of the sudden death of her nephew, Earl Thompson, of Portland, Oregon. He was employed employ-ed at Westport, Washington and was in a car with his brother, Allen Al-len and girl friend when the car skidded and hit a tree, killing Earl. He was to have been best man at his brother's wedding on March 1. He was born and reared in Davis ward, Uintah County, his parents having moved to Portland, Port-land, Oregon some six years ago. He is survived by his parents and several brothers and sisters at Portland. , Mr. and Mrs. Keith Snyder and faihily, of Altonah, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Brighton and two children were guests at the h6me of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bingham on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd received re-ceived word from their son, Howard, How-ard, who has been stationed with the armed, forces at Ft. tee, Virginia Vir-ginia for several months, that he was being transferred to Stockton, -Calif. Mrs. Todd and small son have been in Virginia also. -.- Mr. and Mrs. Ted Jensen and small children, of Salt Lake City, were weekend guests with Mrs. Jensen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Seth Asay. |
