Show WHITERQCKS Madeena Smith HOW TO BECOME A SILVER GLEANER EXPLAINED A Silver Gleaner program was given in the class in Mutual on Tuesday. Miss Veneita Smith, of Long Beach, Calif., gave a talk on becoming a Silver Gleaner. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Davis made a trip to Salt Lake on Monday, where Mr. Davis will receive medical med-ical care. He is suffering with arthritis. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Anderton, J. O. Hoops and Mrs. Mildred Moosman went to Salt Lake and Tooele to visit on Wednesday. Mrs. Myrtle Hoops and Betty Moosman, who have been out there for some time, returned with them. . Miss Venieta Smith left Friday for Long Beach, Calif. She will visit in Salt Lake, Layton and Provo a few days before continuing contin-uing on to Long Beach. Max and Leonard Twitchell made a business trip to Salt Lake dn Tuesday, returning Thursday. The Don Simmons family, of Tridell, visited at the Elbert Smith home on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Oberhansly and daughters, Betty and Lorna, Miss Thelda Houston and Terrell Smith attended the Gold and Green Ball at Tridell Thursday night. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Parrish left for a week's stay in Omaha, Nebraska, Saturday, leaving the children with their grandmother, Mrs. Elbert Smith, while they are away. Mrs. Elizabeth Harrison, of Lapoint, La-point, visited, Mrs. Ruth Murray Wednesday. WM. WORFS' ENTERTAIN The young married folks enjoyed enjoy-ed a party at the Wm. Worf home Friday. The visiting folks had trouble getting home after the party, as the roads had drifted full of snow while they were at the party. It was morning before some reached their homes. Paul Robb and Virgil Robb, M. I. A. officers, attended Preparation meeting in Roosevelt on Wednesday. Wednes-day.
