Show national leader To Address Farmers Confab National Farmers Union President Presi-dent James G. Patton will head the list of speakers at the state convention of the Utah Farmers Union to be held March 4 and 5 1 in Salt Lake City it was announced by Jesse S. Tuttle, Utah Farmers Union president. The annual convention will open with registration at 10 o'clock a.m. on March 4 and conclude Saturday afternoon, the 5th. The banquet Friday evening will feature fea-ture a talk by Rev. Shirley Green, director of inter-group relations f,or the National Farmers Union. All sessions will be held in the Newhouse Hotel. - Other speakers will include C. 'E. Huff, general manager of Farmers Farm-ers Union Insurances; Glenn J. Talbott, president of the North Dakota Farmers Union and chairman chair-man of NFU executive committee; Senator Alonzo Hopkin, of Croy-den, Croy-den, Utah; and W. B. Robins, general gen-eral manager of Utah Cooperative Association. Business sessions will include adoption of a program of action for the Utah Farmers Union for the coming year; election of a state board of directors; reports of state officers and the legislative legisla-tive committee.
