ARNOLD cut wedding cake as they observed their 63rd wedding anniversary. They are early Uintah Basin homesteaders and reside in Gusher. Arnolds Observe Sixty-Third Anniversary Date Joseph A. Arnold, 83, and Harriet Har-riet Arnold, 81, of Gusher, observed ob-served their 63rd wedding anniversary anni-versary the latter part of December Decem-ber at their home in Gusher, where they reside and attend to very-day chores. In observance of the occasion a family evening was held, with Mr. and Mrs. George Arnold, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Arnold and Mr. and.Mrs.. John K-.Arnold and fanv ilies, all of Gusher, in attendance. Another son, Manford Arnold, of Salem, was unable to attend. A white birthday cake, decorated decorat-ed in red and green, in keeping with the holiday season, was presented pre-sented to the couple by Mrs. Bud Brakey, of Grand Junction, Colo. The Arnolds were amongs the first homesteaders in the Uintah Basin, settling first in Jensen and later near Lapoint. They then moved to Bluebell and soon after that to Gusher. Mr. Arnold has engaged in farming and ranching most of his life and was extremely active until un-til a year ago, when he underwent an operation. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold have 27 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. |
