Show Larry llartman Is oon Lake Explorer Leader Larry Hartman was elected Moon Lake Explorer leader for the next six months at the Explorer Round-table held last Saturday at Upalco. The Explorers participating participat-ing also set up district activities for the coming months, ending with August. Outdoor activities chosen included in-cluded the annual Deer Count and the Colorado River trip. Doug Miles was appointed chairman of the Deer' Count as far as the Explorers Ex-plorers are concerned, and Jack Brotherson will head the Colorado River trip planning. Grant Mohlman, of Altamont, was appointed to arrange some Explorer dances. Vocational interests the boys decided de-cided to investigate as a district will be a visit to the steel mill in Provo, as well as to the campus cam-pus of the Brigham Young University Uni-versity to see college life. Duane Evans and Larry Hartman will head these activities. Explorers of Moon Lake District will render service by helping at the rodeo during July. Participating in Moon Lake's first Explorer Round-table were: Doug Miles, Grant Mohlman, Larry Lar-ry Hartman, Duane' Evans of Mt. Emmons post; and Jack Brother-son Brother-son and Lavern Kofford, Explorers Explor-ers from Boneta. Glenn Mohlman, Mt. Emmons post advisor was also present. |
