Show TRIDlLL Lorna McKee M Men-Gleaners Banquet Held The M Men and Gleaners held their banquet Friday night at the chapel. A delicious turkey dinner was served by the Junior Gleaner Girls with the help of Christa Ross. Jennis Betts was toast mistress mis-tress with Lester Bartlett giving a toast to the Gleaners. Clark Jones and Reuben Mc-Conkie Mc-Conkie visited at the Forrest Goodrich and Reed McConkie residences resi-dences Sunday aternoon. Isola Morrill and Thelma McKee attended Primary conerence at Whiterocks Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. Le Grande Gilbert were Sunday visitors at the Jack Goodrich home. Mission Study class was held Friday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Goodrich. ' Mr. and Mrs. Dale Anderson and Orlan were visitors at the Loren Ross and DeVon McKee homes over the weekend. Norman Kitchen was a visitor in Salt Lake and American Fork during the week. Those attending the MIA Institute In-stitute in Vernal Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley, De-on De-on Merkley, Ruth Godrich, Karen and Lorna McKee. Mrs. Marvin Olson and two daughters ha.ve been visiting during dur-ing the week at the home of her parents, the J. G. Warrens. Lester Bartlett attended a scout meting in Vernal Monday night. Grace Morrill and Lula Mullins have moved beck into their home from Roosevelt. The Guide class entertained its parents at a party last week. The Teachers are Jennis Betts and Parley Par-ley Goodrich. Mrs. Bill Workman and children were visitors during the week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Harvey. PRESENT PROGRAM The MIA presented the Sunday night conjoint program. Bob Benson Ben-son and Lewis Fife, Vernal Seminary Sem-inary teacher, were the speakers. Merrell Goodrich played a piano selection and, the MIA chorus sang two numbers. Narators were Marion Morrill, Jennis Betts, Mig-non Mig-non Harvey and Davis Morrill. Participating in the dialogue were Bob Goodrich, Bishop Goodrich and Joan Ross. A large group from here attended attend-ed Primary Leadership in Vernal Thursday night. The Marion Morrill family have moved into the Dale Anderson home. They were formerly occupying occupy-ing the Grace Morrill home. Mr. and Mrs. William Kaumans and son from Denver were visitors at the Rae Goodrich home during the week. Le Ora and Ida Bowthorpe and Mrs. Carma Cook and two daughters daugh-ters visited Sunday with the Duane McKee family. |
