Show MONTWELL Bettie Mower PRIMARY CONFERENCE Primary conference was held in Montwel ward Sunday evening, with Mrs. Verda Campbell of the stake Primary presidency as a visitor. The children put on a splendid program with dramas, choral readings and songs. Carol Brown, accompanied by Rose Brown, sang two solos. Everyone enjoyed it very much.' In Montwel recently were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Brown of Salt Lake City, who were visitors at the Art Brown and Max Nelson homes. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Haslem, of Bennett, visited here Sunday. Ruth will stay at her father's home while her mother is in Salt Lake City. Bishop James E. Hamblin's condition seems to be worse, so they sent for his wife to be with him. He underwent a major operation oper-ation a week ago. Delmer and James B. Hamblin returned home from Washington a few days before their father was taken sick. They have been working in a sawmill there for several months, but came home to help their father this summer. Delmer took his mother to Salt Lake City, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Pierson and daughters were here visiting their daughter, Mrs. Parley Alexander during the weekend. Mrs. Lynn Taylor and son, Lynn are here visiting at the Maurel Taylor home. The following boys from Montwel Mont-wel were baptized Saturday at Roosevelt: Allen Brown, Leslie Brown, Michael Blanchard and Ar-vin Ar-vin Roberts. 44th WEDDING Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Brown were hosts at a lovely dinner in their home in honor of Mrs. Brown's parents. It was their 44th wedding anniversary. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Roberts and Guy Thompson. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Mower attended at-tended the stake Temple excursion excur-sion to the Salt Lake Temple on Wednesday. While out that way they went to Logan to visit Bettie and Mr. and Mrs. Don Lougee at Ogden. They also visited Lynn and his family and other friends and relatives before returning home on Friday. They also went in and visited Bishop Hamblin. Ray Brown attended an REA meeting at Altamont Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Max Nelson made a trip to Salt .Lake City this week. They visited Bishop Hamblin Ham-blin and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Brown returned home with them. |
