Show Festival Plans Underway By Roosevelt Ward The Roosevelt LDS ward is preparing pre-paring for a big-time auction and festival on Friday, Aug. 19, at the Roosevelt stake house, as a building build-ing fund project. According to Theron Leavitt, general chairman, everyone is asked to don aprons and levis for the big event, which will feature many worthwhile things to be purchased or auctioned. Besides the quilt auction, many other valuable items will be sold to the highest bidder, - including baled hay. Homemade foods of all types will be for sale, such and sandwiches, sand-wiches, cake, pies, salads, barbecued bar-becued hamburgers, etc. The whole family is invited to attend the festival, have their supper and join in the fun program which is being planned.
