Show Ethel Beebe ' Star Gazing Party The Altonah Boy Scouts and Bee Hive girls held a Star Gazing Gaz-ing party on the Lake Fork River Tuesday night. Those present were: George Reay, Dean Carroll, Gene Carroll, Dee Clark, Brent Fisher, Dean Shiner, Mack Jacob-son, Jacob-son, Marilyn Young, Peggy Ralphs, Judy Clark, Joyce Reay and Nor-ita Nor-ita Bowden;. Mrs. Arda Ames, Mrs. Henrietta Carroll, Mrs. La-Rue La-Rue Fisher and George Fisher, Jr. The evening was spent in playing games and hamburgers were ser-( ved to the group. David Hislop, of Vernal, and Doris Allred, of Altonah, are employed em-ployed at the Clarence Jones' resort re-sort for the summer. Mr., and Mrs. Vern Titcomb and two children of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Wm. Bond of Heber, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Fisher, Jr. one day last week. Phillip Van, of Lapoint, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rochel Friday. . Mr. and Mrs.' David Dennison, of Ferron, and Mr. and Mrs. Theron Frandsen of ' American Fork, visited Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Shiner during the week. Willard Bowden left Saturday for Wyoming, where he is employed. em-ployed. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Beebe and Mrs. Reed Beck and four sons, of Salt Lake City, were Monday and Tuesday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe. Mrs. Wm. Ralphs was taken to the Roosevelt Hospital Thursday of last week to be treated for leg trouble. Little Shauna Fisher, granddaughter grand-daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Shiner, received medical care for a bad tooth in Roosevelt three days last week. Melwood Wall is employed on a church farm in Salt Lake City. He came to Altonah and took his wife and family back with him, Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Frear of Salt Lake, accompanied Melwood on to Altonah to get his family. Mrs. Dewey Jessen, Mrs. Reay Jessen and Marilyn Young made a trip to Salt Lake City Thursday. Judy Jessen, of Salt Lake City, accompanied them home to spend some time with Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Jessen. Billy Ralphs, of Orem, was visiting vis-iting relatives in Altonah last weekend. Stake Mutual Leadership meeting meet-ing was held in Mt. Emmons ward hall Saturday, July 19. Mrs. Arda Ar-da Ames and Bonnie Ann Ames attended from Altonah. |
