Show Kenneth Long is home again, after having had an appendix operation op-eration at the Roosevelt hospital. A Mother's Day program was given by the Sunday School. Charley Bolton was chosen as vice president of the Basin baseball base-ball league at a meeting held recently in Roosevelt. Phil McKowan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Burns McKowan, left Monday for FGort Douglas to be inducted into the army. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Houston, Mrs. T. R. Gray and children, Patsy and Alan, spent a few days in Provo recently, with Mrs. Carl Lindley and Lorna Hemingway. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Haslem spent Mother's Day in White-rocks White-rocks with her mother, Mrs. Diamond, and with her sister, Mrs. Mable Betts. |
