Show School Doings ALTERRA HIGH Monday, Nov. 24, was Parents' Day at Alterra with parents attending at-tending regular classes. Luncheon Lunch-eon was served them at noon, after which they attended a planned program. The day's activities ac-tivities ended with the formation forma-tion 6f the first P T A to be organized at the school. Lawrence Law-rence Caldwell was elected president; pres-ident; Wendell Johnson, vice president; Mrs. Gilstrap, 2nd vice president; Osa Hullinger, secretary. Juniors held their first assembly as-sembly Nov. 26, with the participants parti-cipants portraying some popular national or local figure. School recessed Nov. 28 and 29 for Thanksgiving holidays. The school play, "Almost Eighteen," was presented to an enthusiastic audience on Dec. 5. Mrs. Edwards, director, and the cast and committees deserve great praise for its splendid presentation. pre-sentation.
