Show Altonah Mrs. Ethel Beeba Mrs. Mary Weeks, Mrs. Fern Miller and Ed Davis were judges of the School Board election held Wednesday. Mr. " and Mrs. Linford Max-field Max-field and Pete Wall, of Mt. Em-' Em-' mons, went to Salt Lake City, Monday. Albert Clark took his daughters, daugh-ters, Eldora and Lajonda, to Vernal, Ver-nal, Monday, for medical, care. Joe Malnar, of Neola, Joe Wilkins, of Hanna, and William O. Larsen, of Bluebell, attended an A.A.A. election here Wednesday Wednes-day to select a delegate and alternate al-ternate to represent Altonah and Mt. Emmons at the Agricultural Conservation convention. Irvin Powell returned Wednesday Wednes-day from California, after spending spend-ing several weeks with his wife and family. The George Carroll family moved into their new home Saturday. Sat-urday. The Wm. Clarks moved into the house vacated by the Carrolls. Word has been received of the arrival of a boy, born to Mr. and Mrs. Glen Maxfield, of Wellington, Welling-ton, on Nov. 28. Mrs. Ben Perkins, of Mt. Emmons, Em-mons, fell and broke her arm and finger Thursday, while visiting vis-iting here at the home of her son, Hardy, George Berrett took a bus load of people to Altamont to the Junior Prom Friday night, The American Legion and Auxiliary Aux-iliary held their regular meeting meet-ing Saturday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jones. After separate business sessions, they joined for refreshments and games. Present were Mrs, Ellen Madsen, of Duchesne; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lucas and Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Hansen, of Mt. Em- mons; Mr. and Mrs. Mike Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, of Boneta; Mr. and Mrs. Levear Timothy, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse A. Fowler, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rochel, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunsmore, Mrs. Fern Mil ler, Mrs, Mary Carroll,' Dale RiJ. ey, Farreil Mohlman and Clyde Lambert. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Paige and Mrs. Mary Young made a trip to Salt Lake City, Saturday, returning re-turning home Tuesday. Mrs. Dean Reay returned from the Roosevelt hospital, Saturday with her new daughter. Mrs. Ralph Woodward also was able to come home with her twin sons. |
