Show National Forest Timber Sale Scaled bids will be received by the Forest Supervisor, Ashley National Forest, Vernal, Utah, up to and including December 29, 1947, for all the merchantable merchan-table dead timber standing and down and all live limber marked or designated for cutting on an area of approximately 55 acres within Sections 11, 12, 13, and 14, T. 3 N., R. 2 W., U.S.M., Ben-ion Ben-ion Park Chance, Farm Creek Compartment, Whiterocks Working Work-ing Circle, Ashley National Forest, For-est, Utah, estimated to be 500,-000 500,-000 feet b.m., more or less, of lodgepole pine and Engleman spruce sawtimber and 20,000 linear feet, more or less, of lodge-pole lodge-pole pine timber suitable for mine props. No bid of less than $3.00 per M ft., b.m. for saw-timber saw-timber and $5.00 per M linear feet for mine prop timber will be considered. In addition to making payments for stumpage the purchaser will be required to make an additional deposit of $0. 18 per M ft. b.m. and per M linear feet for the total cut of sawtimber and mine prop timber tim-ber respectively, to be deposited into a cooperative work fund to pay for the cost of timber stand Improvement work, and $0.10 per M ft. b.m., and per M linear feet, for the total cut of sawtimber saw-timber and mine prop timber respectively to be deposited into a cooperative work fund to pay for the cost of slash disposal work. At the time of submitting bids, $300.00 payable to the ! Treasurer of the United States : must accompany each bid, to be applied on the purchase price, refunded, or retained in part as liquidated damage nccording to conditions of sale. The right to reject any and all bids is re served.
