Show Neola Ruth B. Jensen Two members of the State Department De-partment of Engineering, Willard A. Day and Lay ton Maxfield, of Salt Lake City, were in Neola Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Johnson and family, of Murray, spent the weekend with Mrs. Johnson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Whitmorc, Howard Horrocks broke the bones in his foot while playing basketball Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Dye have been called to Moroni by the serious ser-ious illness of their mother. Mrs. Merle Mooseman and children, of Whiterocks, are making an indefinite stay with - lier parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Prcscott, of Hayden. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Leavitt and family. Lorcn Leavitt and Mer-lyn Mer-lyn Van Tasscll, of Kamas, Utah, spent two days here last week visiting relatives. Marjorie Gardner was a weekend week-end visitor in Salt Lake City. Word has been received of Mrs. Mary Crozier's safe arrival ' in Hawaii, where she went by plane for an extended visit with friends. Mr. and Mrs. S. Bittle and family, who have, been living in Neola for ?omc months, left Sunday Sun-day for their home in Moab. Mrs. Parley Timothy and children, chil-dren, of Roosevelt, and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kettle and family, of Randlett, visited here Friday. Miss Lcora Wilkerson, a student stu-dent at a beauty school in Salt Lake, spent the weekend with her parents. Frank Bingham, of Ft. Duchesne, Du-chesne, visited his brother, Mel-vin Mel-vin Bingham, Friday and Saturday. Satur-day. Mr. and Mrs. Fay Mecham an- nounce the birth of a son at the Roosevelt hospital, Sunday. Fire destroyed one of the W. K. Dye farm buildings Sunday. Damage wps estimated at $1500. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Oberhan-slcy Oberhan-slcy and Merilyn spent the weekend week-end in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Workman announce the marriage of their daughter, Reta, to Mr. Clell Duncan, of Green River, Utah. The ceremony took place Nov. 11 in Salt Lake City. Fifty relatives rel-atives and close friends of the family honored Mr. and Mrs. Duncan at a reception at the home of their parents in Bluebell on Thanksgiving day. Our community com-munity extends best wishes to the Duncans. Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Jensen and their mother, Mrs, Martcna Jensen, spent two days last week in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Glade Peterson, who have been employed at Lehi, returned to their home, Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. John Larson and two children left for their home in Union, Tuesday, after a two months' visit in Neola. |
