Show Local Recruiter Reports Heavy Nov. Enlistment Seven men enlisted in the Regular Reg-ular Army during the month of November from Roosevelt, Vernal Ver-nal and surrounding communities. communi-ties. These men enlisted through the U. S. Army-and .U.. S. . Air Force Recruiting Station at Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, reports Sgt. Wells, recruiter recruit-er in charge. Reed McClellan and Val Mc-Clellan, Mc-Clellan, brothers, both of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, having served in the AAF during the war, re-enlisted for service in the U. S. Air Forces for a period of five years each. They re-enlisted with the intention inten-tion of making the Army their career, and are presently stationed sta-tioned at Lowry Field, in Denver, Den-ver, Colorado. Carl F. Treichel, transient from Kimberly, Wisconsin, and Navy veteran of World War II also enlisted through the Roosevelt Roose-velt office for service in the U. S. Air Forces and is also stationed station-ed at Lowry Field near Denver. His enlistment was for a three year period. There were four original on-: listmcnts in addition to the three re-enlistments, according to Sgt. Wells. Johnnie L. Copeland and Grovcr C. Cannon, of Vernal, enlisted en-listed for a period of three years each for service in the field artillery, ar-tillery, and are presently stationed station-ed at Fort Ord, Calif. Stanley) S. Hardman, of Ioka, enlisted for a period of three years for service with the Corps of Engineers. Engi-neers. He is now taking basic training at Fort Ord, Calif., after which he will be assigned to his branch of service.'
