Show Hangar Talk By Pete These Indian Days beards sure seem to attract a lot of attention, and I must say a few comments, in points outside of the Uintah Basin. When I made a recent business trip to Salt Lake I had to introduce myself to my old friends, and furthermore. I had to identify myself at the local post office to get my own mail. ' ut have noticed that the wife and kids mind better; so I guess raising a beard is not all m vain. Dotty says she wishes the men in Roosevelt would always al-ways wear beards, it makes them more outstanding. I just say it's a good way to tell whether or not a man is boss in his own house. I z But it does look like we should put up some kind of a prize for the best beards. Flights from the local port: Mr and Mrs. Lester Bartlett to Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Ted Olpm with Wendell Despain made an overnight trip to Emmet, Em-met, Idaho. Planes stopping at the local port were: Mr. Gillespie, enroute from Kremling, Colo., to Spanish Span-ish Fork; and an Ercoupe from" Tremonton, Utah. |
