Show Funerals ARVEL J. NIELSON MYTON Arvel J. Nielson, 28, died August 4 in a San Francisco Fran-cisco hospital after a 2-week illness ill-ness from a heart ailment. He was born Nov. 7, 1920, in Arcadia, a son of Emery and Sarah Sar-ah Bird Nielson. The family moved to Myton when he was a child and he received his educa tion in the Myton elementary school and the Roosevelt high high school. He enlisted in the U. S. Navy, Nov. 6, 1942 and served in the Pacific area until October 14, 1945. On October 22. 1945 he married mar-ried Rcatha Walker in San Francisco, and made his home there till the time of his death. He was a member of the Islam Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons, Mas-ons, of California and was employed em-ployed by the Jurrley and Lloyd Tire company. Masonic funeral services were conducted August G in San Francisco Fran-cisco with LDS graveside services ser-vices at Fresno on August 8. Interment In-terment was in the Fresno City cemetery. The deceased is survived by his wife and a step-son. Joni Walker. (Sam) Sprouse at the Roosevelt stake tabernacle, under the direction of Bishop E. J. Nixon. Prelude music was played by Elaine Hullinser. and the invo cation was given by Dr. Vcre Johnson. Musical selections included in-cluded two numbers by a quartet quar-tet composed of Gertrude Moysh, Esther Wogec, Bennie Schmieft, and Clyde Johnson, accompanied by Evelyn Schmiett; a solo by Harvey Knight, Vernal, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Knight: and a solo by Mary Ellen Gardner, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Hullinger.
