Show Notes & Comment The trouble with most minds is that they are unused. Today's advertising paves the way for tomorrow's profit. A man is getting old when he realizes that he is getting old. A simpleton Is a man. or woman, wom-an, who serves the public without with-out pay. Too often news is not what happened, but what people think has happened. Over-cautious people are almost al-most as worthless as those who are careless. Most of the worries that afflict af-flict our minds never exist outside out-side of our heads. Almost any smart boy can tell you how many days until school starts again. Every time a Congressman gets incensed about something'. he starts an investigation. Advertising in the Roosevelt Standard is the way to stimulate the public, and, if the stimulus is sufficient, the result will be good business. Newspapers might as well learn to take criticism; some of it will do most of them much good. Civilization is largely a process pro-cess of judging man by what he is rather than by what he pretends pre-tends to be. Too much talking and too little lit-tle thinking accounts for some of the troubles that beset mankind. |
