Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ar-thur Wiscombe also went in for the wedding and the reception held that same evening. Mrs. Bill Parrish has returned from California where she went to witness the marriage of her sister, Bonnie. Moana Smith also made the trip. The M-Men and Gleaners met at the Alden White home Sunday Sun-day night. On Tuesday they joined the M-Men and the Glen-ers Glen-ers of the Bennett ward in a rol-I rol-I ler skating party at Victory Park. 1 Dorothy Hatch, daughter of iMr and Mrs. Jerry Hatch, is visiting with her sister, Mrs. Ra-mona Ra-mona Mecham, at Vallejo, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell White and family, of Provo, are visiting the Alden Whites. Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Brighton and family went to Lagoon to attend at-tend the Brighton reunion. Tuesday was Primary festival day in the ward. Squire N. Magnum was injured in-jured during the week in a haying hay-ing accident. Mary Helen, of Salt Lake City, was a weekend guest at the Jack Allred home. Mrs. Jack Cook entertained at a quilting party last week. Earl Gardner and son, Danny, spent several days in Salt Lake, last week. Several of the Relief Society members met all day Tuesday to make a -quilt for Mrs. Maude Anderson. Mrs. L. E. Clark enjoyed a trip to Wyoming with friends last weekend. Branan Bussey and Mr. Log-gens, Log-gens, of Ft. Worth, Texas, were overnight guests at the Russcl Todd home, Thursday. Keith Todd had met them while serving as a missionary in the Texas-Lousiana Texas-Lousiana mission. This was their first trip to Utah and they were very much impressed. Willis Miller, of Montwel has been visiting with his brother Ed Coston. Mrs. Blanche Wiscombe entertained enter-tained at a quilting1 party, Monday Mon-day for Mrs. Louise Campbell, of Roosevelt, Mrs. Maxine Kno-bles. Kno-bles. Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Nita White, Mrs. Fannie Todd and Mrs. Ivo Seeley. Keith Todd and Mark Angus were speakers in Sacrament meeting, Sunday. Court of honor was held at Ballard Sunday evening, with the Ballard Scouts as hosts. Devon Dev-on Seeley received an Eagle badge, other boys received various var-ious awards and badges. Robert Rob-ert Andrews, of the Stake Scout committee was present: also a few scouts from Roosevelt. Spencer Spen-cer Squire was guest speaker and James Anderson, of Price, was in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Elton Kettle and two children spent the weekend in Salt Lake City where they took their small son for medical care. They also visited with Dennis, Den-nis, who is in the Primary hospital. hos-pital. Mrs. S. B. Kettle made the trip with them. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Snyder and sons, of Allonah, visited at the Charles Bingham home last week. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hullinger made a round-trip to Salt Lake, Tuesday. Mrs. Earl Winn sprained an ankle Tuesday morning. |
