Show Myton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish Mrs. M. C. Adams returned Wednesday night from San Francisco, Fran-cisco, where she was called by the death of her brother, Arvel Nielson. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson, returned Thursday night, having remained in San Francisco for a brief visit with their daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robin-entertained Robin-entertained Saturday evening at a bridge supper. Tables were attractively at-tractively laid with places mark-1 ed for Mr. and Mrs. Flovd Lamb. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb. Mr. and Mrs. W. II. Linck, Mr. and Mrs. II. W. Davenport, Mr, and Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lott, Mrs. Bliss Lott, Miss Alice Todd and Mr, Lee Cooper. Bridge was the diversion, diver-sion, following supper, with high score and travel prizes won by Milton Lott. Margo Linck entertained a group of young" folks at her home Wednesday evening. Four tables were arranged on the lawn for , games, with gay colored lights lending a festive air, A gay crowd of youngsters gathered Monday evening to surprise sur-prise Afton and Ray Adams in celebration of their birthdays which fell on August 13 and 17. Charles Thistle and son, Mel-vin, Mel-vin, and niece, Mrs. Herman Beard, of Grand Junction, Colo., visited Thursday till Sunday at the James Dalgleish home. While here Mr. Thistle painted his store building and attended to property prop-erty interests. They all enjoyed a visit to the Indian Sun Dance near Whiterocks. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Uresk returned Friday from a honeymoon honey-moon trip to Bryce Canyon, Zion Park, Boulder Dam. Yo-semite Yo-semite Park and Tiajuana, N, M. They are now at home in the H. C. Cooper house. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bunce, of Marincz, Cal., arrived Thursday to visit friends and relatives. While here they were guests of Mrs. Bunce's sister, Mrs. James Wilson; her brother, Ross Harmon; Har-mon; and her brother-in-law, Earl Fowler. Both Mr. and Mrs. Bunce made their home here be- I fore their marriage. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. lMichacl Ivcrson, of Orem, who also visited here. Mrs. Iverson is I Mrs. Bunce's mother. Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Mortcnsen and daughter, Mrs. Jack Niei-sen, Niei-sen, made a business trip to Salt Lake Thursday, returning Friday. Fri-day. Visitors at the Wilmer Murray Mur-ray home last week were Mrs. Murray's mother, Mrs. Verona Winkler, and her aunt. Mrs. Alice D. Gale, of Bluebell. They also enjoyed an afternoon at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs, W. IC. Hancock in Pleasant Valley. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil White, of Provo, were weekend guests at the George Funk home. Mrs. Willard Smith and daughters, daugh-ters, Darlene and Mrs. Betty Harrison and children went to Glens Park in Provo canyon, Saturday, Sat-urday, to be present at the reunion re-union of the Chidester family. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Adams, of Roosevelt, were guests at the James Dalgleish home, Wednesday Wednes-day evening. Mrs. Del Combs, of Duchesne, .visited in My ton Saturday en-route en-route from a business trip to Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Lou Milner enjoyed en-joyed a weekend visit from their daughter and son-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wallace and family, of Meeker, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson enjoyed a weekend visit from Mr. Nielson's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Silas Ross, of Castlegate. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Brummett and baby, who were called here by the death of Mr. Brummett's father, Wesley Brummett. left Saturday night for their home in Areata, Calif., after a week's visit with the family. They wei'e accompanied by Vern Brummett who will work in California during dur-ing the coming months. |
