Show UTAH 8TATE EXTENSION 8ERVICB AGUICULTUKE UOMB ECONOMICS By LOUIS A. JENSEN County Agent Our County Fair is being held this year at Duchesne on September Septem-ber 2 and 3. A concentrated effort ef-fort has been made to set up a fair organization in the proper manner and to have it function as it should. It is hoped that those who have accepted responsibility res-ponsibility will take sufficient interest in our county to discharge dis-charge their responsibilities and carry out the jobs they have been assigned. The fair committee feels that there is room for a lot of improvement, im-provement, especially in some divisions. di-visions. The county derives most of its income from livestock. This department should therefore be one of the larg'est of the show. This can be accomplished only through stock raisers taking tak-ing sufficient interest to bring in their best animals and support the fair. The County Fair is for the benefit of the people. If we want it continued, lets make it -a good one or else discontinue it all together. to-gether. Let's all unite to put over a fair that we will be proud of. |
