Show LAPOINT 2SKSSX5X5SX5SX5SX5XX5XSi Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Walker of Provo visited her mother, Mrs. Mac Sprouse and sister, Thelma Winn and family Sunday night. Floyd, who is in the Navy, is home on a furlough. Wm. B. Wallis of Vernal was a Lapoint visitor Monday. Harvey Long, son of Mrs. Guy Long is home on a furlough after af-ter being in the army the past 2 years. He is stationed in Oregon. Ore-gon. Mrs. Louie Brough of Rand-lett Rand-lett visited her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Nebeker over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Dudley of Ogden visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Neumeyer last week. Keith Ross of Vernal was a visitor in Lapoint Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Horrocks announce the arrival of a baby boy, born April 14. This is their 4th boy. Mrs. Horrocks is at the home of Mrs. Frank Watkins at Vernal. Maxine, the 12 year old girl of Mr. and Mrs. McCoy Nybcrg was operated on for appendicitis at Vernal Thursday. Ben Cook and son, Dorvel left Thursday for Salt Lake City. Mr. Cook went for medical care for his eyes and to visit his sister. Grand Rasmussen, formerly of Lapoint, but now living at Oakland, Oak-land, California, was a Lapoint visitor Thursday. Wm. Sprouse of Bingham was in Lapoint Saturday and also attended at-tended the funeral of his brother, James Sprouse at Roosevelt on Saturday. Mrs. Thurza Sprouse and Thelma Winn visited in Salt Lake City Monday. Mr. and Mrs. James Bywaters of My ton visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kump and sister, Mrs. Mae Warburton, during dur-ing the week. Mr. Bywaters has just recently returned from Los Angeles where he has had employment, em-ployment, but is convalesing from a recent appendicitis operation. oper-ation. Mrs. Martin Taylor of Kansas visited his mother, Mrs. Roxa Taylor during the week, Martin i is stationed in Texas with the U S forces. Mr. and Mrs. George Bigelow and Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Perry visited Sunday in Ogden with their daughter, Orvel Hullinger and family also at American Fork with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bell. Ferris Harrison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Harrison returned return-ed to Lapoint Saturday to spend his furlough. He has been at San Francisco, California in the Armed Forces. The Harrisons have two other boys in the service, serv-ice, Bud who is somewhere overseas over-seas and Carlyn at Tacoma, Washington. |
